During WW2 how come the americans didn't bomb german railroad that lead to death camp?

The american forces had pictures of the railroad that carried people to death camps, so why didn't the american forces just bomb the railroad line? It would stop bringing people to the death camps, stop bringing supplies and such, why didn't they ever bomb the railroad that route was to aushzituz for example?
